    The production process of PLA (Polylactic Acid) straws :


    1.Raw Material Preparation:

    2.Fermentation:

    The extracted starch undergoes a fermentation process where enzymes break down the starch molecules into simple sugars. Microorganisms then ferment these sugars to produce lactic acid, the key building block for PLA polymerization.

    3.Polymerization:

    The lactic acid molecules are polymerized through a process that involves heat and catalysts, forming long chains of PLA polymer. This polymerization process is essential for creating the biodegradable and heat-resistant properties of PLA.

    4.Extrusion or Injection Molding:

    The PLA polymer is then processed through extrusion or injection molding techniques to shape it into straw forms. Extrusion involves melting the PLA resin and forcing it through a die to create continuous profiles, while injection molding injects molten PLA into molds to produce straw shapes.

    5.Cooling and Solidification:
